This week’s photo shows synthetic gypsum pellets that were agglomerated in FEECO’s lab facility on a disc pelletizer.

Disc pelletizers, also commonly referred to as pan pelletizers, are just one of the many options in agglomeration equipment at FEECO. Our line also includes paddle and pin mixers, drum granulators, roll compactors, and briquetters. While each type of equipment functions differently, one thing remains the same: all of these agglomeration devices reduce material waste and improve product handling, whether you’re working with fly ash, fertilizer, or municipal sludge.

How do you determine which agglomeration equipment will best suit your material and desired end-product? Request a test with our lab engineers. FEECO’s engineers have worked with hundreds of materials, and are well-trained in process configuration. They can perform a variety of tests, such as crush strength and binder analysis, to determine the best configuration for your material.
