PROCESS CONTROL IN THE INNOVATION CENTER
The Innovation Center runs on a distributed control system (DCS). The DCS incorporates intelligent motor control devices for variable speed control and intelligent motor overloads for feedback and alarming.
Local monitoring and supervisory-level visualization capabilities provide the real-time information and reporting needed to control, monitor, and document each step of a process.
Returning customers can access and report on data from previous tests, giving them the starting point they need for continuity in testing.
During testing, the following data points can be monitored, trended, and adjusted in real-time from a single interface or mobile device:

- Feed Rate
- Flow Rates
- Horsepower
- Hertz
- System Pressure
- Temperature
- Torque
- Gas Sampling & Analysis (Oxygen, Carbon Monoxide, Nitric Oxide, Nitrogen Dioxide, Sulfur Dioxide, and combustibles discharged from various thermal processes)
The control system also allows for various data points from specific time frames to be selected and reported on, providing a valuable tool for process analysis.
