This week’s photo comes from the FEECO lab facility. This photo shows a sample of pellets that are in the process of feasibility testing. Once a potential product is created, we have many tests we perform to ensure a product meets the desired specifications, such as bulk density, compression strength, moisture content, abrasion & hardness, sieve analysis, particle size distribution, and flow rate. If the sample pellets do not meet the desired qualifications, we adjust the process to achieve the most desirable results.

FEECO’s lab offers feasibility testing to potential customers to help determine if and how well their material can be agglomerated, as well as what equipment is needed in the process. We handle materials across many industries, including mining & minerals, fertilizers, and even proppants.
