Compactors
Compaction granulation is a dry particle size enlargement process in which powdery material is pressed into sheets through the use of counter rotating rolls.
The bonding of the material is ensured by the mechanical pressure exerted on the product by the compaction equipment, though a binder may be added to aid in agglomeration. The formed sheets are then crushed and screened to produce a flaked or granular form of the desired size product.
