Chris Kozicki, FEECO’s Process Sales Engineer and Agglomeration Specialist, will be presenting at the 2015 Institute for Briquetting and Agglomeration’s (IBA) 34th Biennial Technical Conference. The Conference will take place at the FireSky Resort November 8-11, 2015 in Scottsdale, Arizona (USA).

The IBA conference focuses on the fundamentals of agglomeration, including types of agglomeration, technology, and operation. The conference unites industry experts, providing networking opportunities and face-to-face interaction to discuss the industry’s latest issues and advancements. The conference also serves as an excellent opportunity for industry new-comers to get their feet wet.

Kozicki will be presenting a tutorial on the topic of non-pressure (tumble growth) agglomeration, covering general principles, equipment, and best practices. Additional tutorial sessions will take place, with speakers presenting on agitation agglomeration, briquetting, compaction, and extrusion.

“IBA conferences are always a great opportunity to learn more about the industry as a whole.” Kozicki said. “I look forward to not only sharing my experience with non-pressure agglomeration, but also learning more about my colleagues’ areas of expertise as well.”

As an expert in agglomeration, Kozicki has been an active member of the IBA for many years, serving on the board, and even a term as President. FEECO has been at the forefront of the agglomeration industry since our founding in 1951, helping customers to process materials into value-added products, eliminate handling and transportation issues, and create marketable products.

FEECO custom designs and manufactures a wide range of agglomeration equipment, including complete systems, and also provides both pressure and non-pressure agglomeration testing in our state-of-the-art Innovation Center. Through testing, we are able to identify if your material will agglomerate, what method of agglomeration will work best, and the equipment configuration required to reach the desired outcome.
