Our photo this week shows a rotary ore agglomerator preparing for shipment. The drum, weighing in at around 55 Tons, is being lifted by a crane onto a base while it awaits shipment.

Ore agglomerators are used in heap leaching processes around the world for processing precious metals such as gold, silver, copper, and nickel. Ore agglomerators have been gaining popularity in the heap leaching industry for the value they can bring through increased metal recovery, and enhanced efficiency.

These massive drums agglomerate ore fines so the fines are more uniform in shape in size, allowing for better percolation of the leaching agent through the heap.

FEECO has been manufacturing custom heavy-duty agglomeration drums for over six decades. For more information on our heap leaching drums, contact us today!
