This week’s photo shows a technician preparing for a paddle mixer lab. As seen in the photo, the technician is gathering water from the binder spray system, to confirm proper dispersal of the binder prior to lab production.

Paddle mixers are regularly used in FEECO’s state-of-the-art lab, and for good reason, as they can fulfill a variety of process objectives, and process a multitude of materials, from sludges to fertilizers, and nearly everything in between.

Paddle mixers can be used as a stand-alone device, or as a pre-cursor to a disc pelletizing system, and can achieve mixing, agglomeration, and conditioning goals.

The paddle mixer is an integral component in FEECO’s Lab facility, used in many types of testing applications:

    • Feasibility Testing
    • Product Development
    • Process Design
    • Process Optimization
