FEECO’s conveyors can be designed with a variety of additional components to meet our customer’s exact specifications. We offer the following standard conveyor add-ons:
Belt Trippers. Belt trippers are designed for material discharge control. They re-route the belting to discharge material at any point along the conveyor. Belt trippers can be mounted stationary, or set to move locations either manually or automatically to release material on one or both sides of the conveyor.
Belt Plows. FEECO’s belt plows work to increase a belt conveyor’s material discharge control capabilities. Our design also incorporates a raising bed plate which allows the use of a plow even on troughed belts.
Belt Feeders. Belt feeders are used when material that is stockpiled or loaded (at an uncontrolled rate) needs to be introduced into the system at a more controlled feed rate. This control makes it possible to add bulk material into the hopper without causing any quantity fluctuation in the process.
Conveyor Covers. Conveyor covers protect the material being transported from inclement weather conditions such as direct sunlight, rain or ice, and in some cases, the covers may also aid in dust control. FEECO’s covers are durable, and designed for the long haul. They also provide easy access for observation and/or maintenance.
