This week’s photo is a traveling belt tripper under fabrication.

Traveling trippers are used to dislodge material off of the conveyor at designated locations between the terminal pulleys, traveling continuously at a constant speed for layered stacking. FEECO’s trippers are customized to accommodate your desired specifications, adding versatility and functionality to the troughed belt conveyor.

FEECO’s belt trippers feature:

  • Four wheel drive.
  • Engineered pulley loop. The belting travels through a set of pulleys to create the discharge point, and then redirects the belt back on to the idlers. The pulley loop is designed so the conveyor belting will experience limited stress, and ultimately, limited wear and stretching.
  • Direct drive. FEECO’s belt trippers are furnished with direct mounted motor and gear reducers that are separate from the main conveyor drive components. This configuration allows the tripper to be controlled from either a local or remote location.

FEECO looks forward to learning more about your bulk material handling requirements. For a quote on our traveling belt trippers, contact our sales engineers today.
