This week’s Photo of the Week comes to us from a unique project FEECO did in the late 1970s for handling petroleum coke. The image shows the interior of a tube in which the shuttle conveyor was housed when not filling barges. The conveyor would then extend out of the tube to fill barges with the Petroleum Coke. The tube, with interior framework, was used as the most economical support structure for the shuttle as it extended over the water.

FEECO’s bulk material handling systems are often employed in projects that require a high amount of ingenuity, as in this particular project.
