FEECO was founded in 1951 as the Fertilizer Engineering and Equipment Company. We sought to bring better equipment and process solutions to the fertilizer industry, and quickly became experts in granulation.
Today, FEECO continues to be an industry leader in fertilizer equipment manufacturing and process design. We specialize in the design and fabrication of organic and inorganic fertilizer granulation systems, including complete, turnkey process plants based on your feed material and product requirements, or single pieces of equipment. From inorganic materials such as MAP, DAP, NPK, and Ammonium Sulfate, to organics including cattle manure, hog slurry, and chicken litter, FEECO’s equipment and process solutions can transform these raw materials into dry, free-flowing granules or pellets.
FEECO also houses an Innovation Center- a unique testing facility which develops product and/or processes, as well as confirms process viability for the materials noted above. Here, our team of Process Experts analyze raw feedstock, including moisture content, flowability, sensitivity to heat, and other factors to develop the ideal fertilizer granulation process in compliance with each customer’s specific material and end-product requirements. Often times, this means adding raw, inorganic materials to organic ones to create a blended, fertilizer product.
In an effort to share our expertise in fertilizer granulation systems, FEECO will once again be exhibiting at the Fertilizer Latino Americano Conference to take place January 27-29, 2016 in Cartagena, Colombia.
An annual event, Fertilizer Latino Americano unites decision makers from the largest fertilizer manufacturers and buyers in Latin America. Topics on this year’s agenda include:
-
-
- Regional and global fertilizer markets
- Technology and innovation
- Pricing expectations and implications for trade
- Crop analysis and agronomic strategies
- New projects
-
FEECO will be exhibiting at booth 29. Brian Madigan, FEECO’s Director of Business Development, will be present to share our fertilizer equipment and solutions.
“FEECO has worked with many of the companies scheduled to attend Fertilizer Latino Americano,” said Madigan. “We have a lot to offer the fertilizer industry, not only in terms of custom processing equipment, but testing, too. We look forward to reconnecting with old colleagues at the conference, and meeting new ones along the way.”
