Pug Mill for De-Dusting Fly Ash

Fly ash is a by-product of coal-fired power generation. The dusty nature of fly ash makes it challenging to handle, transport, and landfill. A paper mill was struggling with this issue and tasked FEECO with engineering a pugmill mixer to de-dust the material prior to deposit into landfill. FEECO provided the custom equipment and also trained operators on troubleshooting and optimizing the process, as fly ash can be a challenging material to work with. View the profile >>
