Anglo American, a London, UK mining company, has released a set of progressive videos centered around sustainability over the past month. The videos take a unique approach in connecting mining with the everyday uses of various mined materials. Their video for copper is displayed below with the remainder being available for viewing at their YouTube channel.

Last week, Rio Tinto, a Canadian mining company, announced 3rd quarter results showing a 16 % increase in iron ore shipments year over year from their main production site. The results are somewhat surprising as most commodities continue to struggle.
