This week’s photo shows material being discharged from a conveyor in FEECO’s lab facility. The conveyor shown is transferring raw material to a paddle mixer, where it will undergo conditioning.

While the main focus of FEECO’s lab tends to be around agglomeration and thermal testing, our material handling equipment plays an undeniably large role in many testing processes. The lab is equipped with belt and steep incline conveyors, in addition to a bucket elevator, all of which transport material for 1) processing and 2) baggage/storing. The conveyors and bucket elevators are designed to handle a wide variety of materials- fertilizers, minerals, and more, ensuring efficient handling no matter what the material.

A well-designed bulk material handling system can mean the difference between streamlined processing, and inefficient, dusty, or product damaging liabilities.
