Today’s photo is a 3D combustion chamber.

Combustion chambers are used to keep material from coming into direct contact with the burner flame in either a rotary dryer or kiln. The combustion chamber houses the combustion reaction, and directs the airflow into the drum.

Combustion chambers can be incorporated into co-current or counter current units, and they can also accommodate a variety of burners. Additionally, FEECO’s combustion chambers can be customized to fit your specific requirements, with options including:

  • Single or double shell
  • Refractory lining
  • Angled

A combustion chamber is imperative to product quality, and the energy consumed to get that product. If FEECO can assist with your combustion chamber needs, we invite you to contact us for more information.
