FEECO Process Sales Engineer Michael Eidge will be participating in an upcoming granulation workshop hosted by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE)’s Central Florida Section at their upcoming Phosphate Fertilizer & Sulfuric Acid Technology conference.

The conference, held annually, will take place June 5th – 6th, 2026 and feature a range of technical sessions, workshops, and speakers.

The granulation workshop will be held on Friday, June 5th from 3-5PM and will bring together several experts, each presenting on and answering questions around a dedicated topic.

With a background in fertilizer granulation and coating and over 10 years of industry experience collaborating with phosphate producers to develop and optimize their production lines, Michael will be discussing rotary drums in phosphate production—their performance, reliability, and maintenance, with an emphasis on the often-overlooked connection between mechanical stability and process performance.

Experts from Ceeco will discuss scrubbers and baghouses, while representatives from Rhewum will cover screens and screen feeders. Other topics and experts may be added as the workshop approaches.

As a key equipment and service supplier to the fertilizer industry, FEECO has long been an active participant in AIChE activities and an annual sponsor of the event.

FEECO’s depth of expertise is supported by the FEECO Innovation Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin—a fully equipped batch and pilot testing facility with rotary dryers, granulation and coating drums, pin mixers, pugmill mixers, and a fluidized bed system. It’s this hands-on process development capability that informs the practical insights Michael brings to the workshop.

Join Michael and other experts June 5th in St. Petersburg Beach, Florida, for a collaborative session on granulation. Register for the conference today through the AIChE Central Florida Section website. We hope to see you there!
