This past year, FEECO reached an important milestone, achieving the CE Marking certification on a rotary drum, opening the door to potential customers in the European Economic Area, or EEA.

While FEECO has sold equipment internationally since 1951, the CE Marking will expand offerings to customers in the European Union that follow CE Marking standards.

The CE Marking is a set of standards designed to ensure that the manufacturer of a given product has taken the steps deemed necessary by the European Union for the health, safety, and environmental protection of its consumers. A CE Marked machine means that the machine in question has been thoroughly evaluated in each aspect relating to its installation, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning.

For FEECO, the CE Marking is part of a larger effort to fortify already-established quality control standards and procedures.

“We’ve always had stringent quality control measures in place, which is evident in the performance and longevity of our equipment, but taking the steps to obtain a CE Marking gives potential customers the added confidence and security of a globally recognized standard,” Vice President, Brian Madigan comments.

The ability to achieve CE Mark status is a major advantage in the ever-growing competitiveness of the changing market.
