Wisconsin has a rich history in the manufacturing industry, and manufacturing continues to play a major role in the state’s economy today. According to Governor Walker, manufacturers employ 450,000 Wisconsinites, and contribute a near $50 billion in economic growth to the Badger state. For this reason, Governor Scott Walker has declared October “Manufacturing Month” in Wisconsin.

Manufacturing Month will highlight the contribution that manufacturing makes to the state, as well as help those interested in manufacturing careers to learn more about the industry and the opportunities around them. The declaration coincides with National Manufacturing Day, which occurs on October 4th.

FEECO has called Wisconsin home since its founding in 1951, providing solutions to the fertilizer industry. Today, FEECO engineers and manufactures equipment for a variety of industries, particularly the mining industry, where FEECO provides heavy-duty heap leaching equipment for the extraction of ores such as gold, copper, silver, and uranium. FEECO exports this equipment around the world.

In honor of Manufacturing Month, FEECO has introduced a new brochure to our website highlighting our manufacturing capabilities. In addition, this information can now be found on our new manufacturing capabilities page.

FEECO is proud to be a manufacturer that calls Wisconsin home. We continue to invest in the people and technology to remain a presence in Wisconsin’s manufacturing industry. Happy Manufacturing Month from FEECO International!
