Last month, FEECO traveled to South America on a Trade Mission hosted by the Council of Great Lakes Governors (CLGC). The mission covered Colombia, Chile, and Brazil.
The Trade Mission was a success, resulting in many networking and business opportunities. All three countries in the region are experiencing economic growth and could utilize the goods and services that the Great Lakes Region has to offer. Chile, in particular, has a thriving mining industry to which FEECO could contribute heavy-duty heap leaching equipment.
FEECO has done work in the region before, but with economic growth comes an increase in opportunities and the need for advanced technologies. According to FEECO Sales Representative, Brian Madigan, “South America holds many prospects for FEECO. Particularly, FEECO’s technology can bring a lot of value in agriculture, mining, biofuel production, and waste management applications.”
Earlier this year, FEECO attended a Trade Mission to Australia and will soon participate in a buyer delegation with Asia.
