Acquiring the right equipment for starting a process or improving on an existing one is no easy task. And unfortunately, it seems that getting the support you need after the sale can be even more difficult. Customers who work with FEECO have the confidence that the FEECO Customer Service Team has everything they need to keep their process up and running smoothly.

FEECO’s Customer Service Team offers a broad scope of services to create a complete support system for our customers, even if their equipment was not manufactured by FEECO. The following provides an overview of our comprehensive services.

Start-Up and Installation Support

FEECO’s team is staffed with multiple mechanical engineers, all of whom are trained in how to get and keep your equipment up and running. We can fully install the equipment ourselves, inspect the equipment after installation, and/or work with your contractor in an advisory manner to assure an accurate set-up.

Why include a FEECO Service Technician during your industrial start-up and equipment installation?

  • They’re a one-source contact for mechanical and structural problems, which expedites scheduling and issue resolution.
  • They’re familiar with the equipment and the layout, cutting downtime in identifying and sorting parts, sequencing order of installation, and heading off potential re-work.
  • They free up your own management personnel for other important tasks during the installation period.

General Services

The FEECO Service Team also offers a number of general services to keep your equipment running at peak efficiency. The list below highlights common services performed by our technicians.

Laser alignment

FEECO utilizes a state-of-the-art laser tracking system to perform rotary drum alignments, as well as various other tasks such as elevation checks, and drum shell thickness testing. Laser alignment ensures a quicker and more precise alignment compared to traditional methods.

Tire and trunnion wheel grinding

Maintenance and alignment problems begin when load-bearing surfaces such as trunnion wheels, tires, and thrust rollers begin to wear. FEECO can identify such wear, and refurbish tires and trunnions to eliminate problems like timing marks and taper wear.

Annual equipment inspections

Annual inspections are crucial to maintaining operational proficiency and prolonging equipment life. They are an essential tool in a solid preventive maintenance program for any type of equipment.

Equipment & Process Audits

In addition to annual inspections, FEECO offers process and equipment audits to evaluate the condition of your equipment or troubleshoot production issues. Our Service Technicians can travel directly to your operation and inspect the equipment and process. From there, we’ll document the equipment’s overall condition, and note items to monitor and/or repair.

Training Programs

With over 70 years of experience in the bulk materials and processing business, FEECO is able to offer customized training programs to help you in the following areas:

    • Equipment operation training
    • Process training
    • Maintenance training

Our Customer Service Team can teach your staff everything they need to know about their equipment and process, including maintenance procedures, maintaining operation efficiency, and even troubleshooting techniques.

Spare Parts

Quick reference lists, plus our extensive engineering and manufacturing capabilities, allow us to provide quality single-source replacement parts like trunnion wheels, drive shafts, thrust rollers, tires, gears, mixer paddles and pins, replacement shells, and more, to get your equipment back on-line in the shortest time possible. We keep a tight inventory of the most wear-critical parts in stock, and if we don’t have it, we can get it. We can also recommend a list of parts to keep on-hand to minimize downtime waiting on spare parts to arrive.

From start-ups and installs, to parts and routine maintenance, the FEECO Customer Service Team provides the support you need, whether we manufactured your equipment or not. To learn more about FEECO’s services, contact us today!
