This week’s photo highlights FEECO’s mineral processing capabilities, showing a sample of agglomerated minerals from our Innovation Center. Pictured left to right are sulfur, dolomite, hematite, and potash.

The FEECO Innovation Center is fully equipped for agglomeration and thermal test work, allowing us to process minerals utilizing single pieces of equipment, or a continuous process loop. The processes most commonly tested at FEECO are highlighted below:

AGGLOMERATION: coating, compaction, conditioning, briquetting, micro-pelletizing, pelletizing

THERMAL PROCESSING: calcination, drying, heat hardening, heat setting, organic combustion, thermal desorption

FEECO has served the mineral processing industry since our founding in 1951. During that time, our team of experts have transformed an abundance of minerals into value-added products. In addition the minerals highlighted in today’s photo, we’ve also worked with limestone, gypsum, phosphate, bentonite, graphite, manganese, and many, many more.

From initial feasibility, to process and product development, all the way through to optimization, FEECO’s team of Process Experts can help turn your mineral into a valuable product.
