“So next time you’re in Australia, watch for the Green Bay label.”

The newspaper article attached, titled, “Fertilizer Machinery and Know-How Go World-Wide from Green Bay,” from a 1959 issue of the Green Bay Press Gazette, describes a young FEECO in a growing fertilizer market.

“…As world food needs become even more acute, and as underfed nations accept agricultural technology, FEECO and its contemporaries should find excellent opportunity for expansion.” This is ever true in the Australasia region as the need for cleaner fertilizer technologies in reach of greenhouse gas abatement will contribute to more fertilizer production, yielding more crops for the region.

“The machinery is massive and sophisticated, featuring huge drums built of half-inch or thicker steel…Every job is custom built, designed at the plant by FEECO’s engineers.”

Still today, FEECO continues to build massive, sophisticated machinery for the fertilizer industry, but has expanded to provide complete process systems, as well as waste transformation capabilities to a variety of industries around the globe.

‘“That’s only part of the deal, though,’ LeBoeuf {former FEECO Vice President of Sales} emphasized. ‘We sell knowledge along with the machinery.’”
