The recent upgrade of FEECO’s lab testing and tolling facility also brought with it an electrical overhaul with efficiency of process flexibility in mind.

Due to the uniqueness of FEECO’s capabilities, our lab facility had very distinctive requirements. At FEECO, we offer testing on various pieces of equipment, whether it be one piece, or an entire continuous process loop. We are continually changing out equipment, rearranging, and testing a variety of combinations and processes. Because of this uniqueness, we needed an electrical system that was as flexible as we are…and that is just what we got.

FEECO’s new electrical system is not only designed with safety in mind, but also real flexibility. With a clean set-up, this automated electrical system will accommodate nearly any process variation and equipment we can bring to the table.

Aside from its flexibility, the electrical upgrade will also enable lab technicians to plug in a variety of different motors, and at the touch of a button, change the trip protection on them, all from one touch-screen display.

This efficiency of set-up is an asset to FEECO’s testing and tolling capabilities, and the new electrical system will allow for the flexibility FEECO requires.
