FEECO is an agglomeration expert, with extensive knowledge in fertilizer agglomeration and compaction for farm use. Minerals like potash, limestone and gypsum, for example, are often spread on fields for their nutritional value and offer many benefits in an agglomerated form, including improved product handling and quicker nutrient delivery. When processing these minerals into a pellet, dust is also reduced considerably, and thus less product is lost.
In addition to inorganic fertilizer agglomeration, FEECO also manufactures organics granulation systems to transform raw or digested cattle and/or chicken manure, and hog slurry into fertilizer granules. By granulating manure into a pellet (a.k.a prill) form, farmers gain more control of the nutrient content, store the product more easily, and have less transportation costs.
