This St. Patrick’s Day, FEECO commemorated its 62nd year in business.

Founded in 1951 as the Fertilizer Engineering and Equipment Company, by Jim Madigan, FEECO was a major player in providing granulation technologies to companies producing fertilizers. FEECO has since expanded to provide a variety of services and technologies to customers around the world.

Most recently, FEECO has gained attention for its capabilities in the mining industry, providing ore agglomeration drums for the heap leaching process. Additionally, FEECO has grown to offer waste transformation capabilities and advanced feasibility testing in their lab testing and tolling facility.

FEECO is still family-owned, and is run by President, Dan Madigan, with Founder Jim Madigan still assisting in daily operations.

FEECO started with two employees, and has grown to over 100. “FEECO has been successful because of the employees that work here. Our average employee has worked for over 24 years at FEECO. This provides us with a lot of knowledge that we can pass on to our customers.”
