FEECO was founded in 1951 to serve the fertilizer industry with enhanced equipment and process solutions. Since then, we’ve become experts in both organic and inorganic fertilizer granulation technology, custom designing and manufacturing single pieces of equipment in addition to complete turnkey systems.

From NPK grades and Ammonium Sulfate, to DCP and MCP, our experience with inorganic fertilizers, specifically, is wide and far. Past projects include:

    • MAP and DAP granulation, drying, and cooling.
    • The engineering of material handling solutions to transport inorganic fertilizers under challenging conditions.
    • The design and fabrication of robust granulation drums.
    • And more…

To share our expertise with inorganic fertilizer, Shane Le Capitaine, FEECO’s Process Sales Engineer and inorganic fertilizer specialist, will be presenting at the AIChE Central Florida upcoming convention: The 39th International Phosphate Fertilizer and Sulfuric Acid Technology Conference.

The conference unites chemical engineering professionals with the opportunity to share ideas and attend technical presentations surrounding the production of phosphoric acid, phosphate fertilizers, and sulfuric acid. This year, sulfuric acid technology and granulation technology are the two main highlights. Le Capitaine’s presentation will focus on the latter, that is, granulation equipment and process solutions for inorganic fertilizers.

“Working with AIChE is always an enjoyable experience, and I am especially honored to present at this year’s conference” said Le Capitaine. “FEECO has been at the forefront of granular fertilizer technology, and I look forward to sharing our equipment and processing solutions with my AIChE colleagues.”

The AIChE Central Florida conference takes place June 5-6, 2015 at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater Beach, Florida (USA). For more information on the conference, visit www.aiche-cf.org/.
