FEECO International was founded in 1951 as the Fertilizer Engineering and Equipment Company. We became experts in both organic and inorganic fertilizer granulation, providing an international customer base with custom processing equipment and solutions.
We’ve worked with, and continue to work with, a variety of inorganic materials such as ammonium sulfate, DCP, MCP, and NPK. Our resume includes:
- Batch and pilot scale material testing in the FEECO Innovation Center to develop new processes and products, while optimizing existing ones for numerous inorganic materials.
- Customized material handling equipment, including bucket elevators, belt trippers, and conveyors to create flexible, seamless material transportation.

To continue our active involvement in the inorganic fertilizer industry, Brian Madigan, FEECO’s Director of Development, will be attending AIChE Central Florida’s 40th Annual International Phosphate Fertilizer and Sulfuric Acid Technology Conference. The conference is scheduled to take place at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater Beach, Florida (USA) from June 10-11, 2016.
The conference brings together chemical engineers from around the globe, uniting them on the topics of chemical process technology in relation to phosphoric acid, phosphate fertilizers, and sulfuric acid production. This year’s highlights include technical sessions and workshops on process technology, recent advances, and process control.
