After much renovation, the upgrade to FEECO’s lab facility is complete. The upgrade, completed at the end of December, was a complete overhaul of the electrical system, data collection technology, and control system. FEECO now boasts the latest technology from Rockwell Automation by Allen Bradley. This upgrade will put FEECO at the top of the process industry in terms of technology, safety, efficiency, and data collection.
In the coming series, we will take an in-depth look at the upgrade, discussing what it entailed, and how it will benefit FEECO’s customers, focusing on the safety features, the control system, the data collection capabilities, and the efficiency for flexibility of set-up.
FEECO’s lab is a state of the art testing and tolling facility. From one piece to a continuous process loop, FEECO’s lab is flexible in set-up, and allows for testing of various process combinations. With over 60 years of experience, we’ve built a large database on a variety of materials and test procedures.
