Project Manager

FEECO International Inc. is currently looking for a motivated, experienced, and organized Project Manager to join our Project Management team. The Project Manager is responsible for the flow of the custom OEM order from the kickoff meeting through shipment.  The Project Manager will possess exceptional planning and analytical skills, strong communication and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and manage the project to meet or exceed the customer’s expectations.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Administration

  • Complete oversight of orders from the Kickoff Meeting through shipping.
  • Moderate progress and status of assigned projects.
  • Maintain working knowledge of order progress, including financial, schedule, and customer-relation status.
  • Work with the Sr. Project Manager regarding the status of individual order review, exceptions review, customer issues, schedule issues, and the resolution of conflicts in those areas.
  • Work with Project Team (Project Engineer, Lead Designer, Detailer(s), and Salesperson) to coordinate engineering, design, drafting, and resolve order related issues.
  • Occasional travel may be required to customer’s job sites or place of business providing expertise, overseeing an installation, start-up, or general operation of product.

Engineering Assistance

  • Provide Engineering support and /or coordination with the field of his/her Engineering discipline as needed. (Analysis, drawing/schematics, component specifications, start up support, subcontractor oversight, etc.)

 

Sales Assistance (Technical)

  • Actively work with Sales Department during the quoting stage to provide technical assistance in his/her area of expertise (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural, or Chemical Engineering).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or Chemical Engineering; equivalent education and work experience may be considered.
  • Minimum three to five years’ experience in a general manufacturing job-costing environment.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in his/her technical field.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a Project Manager
  • Ability to prioritize schedule to meet or exceed a customer’s requirements
  • Ability to participate as an active member in team related activities.
  • Ability to proficiently operate a personal computer and Microsoft Office Software
  • Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines
  • Some travel may be required; typically 20% or less.
