Today’s photo shows a belt plow under fabrication at FEECO.

Belt plows serve as an auxiliary material discharge system, releasing material on either side of the belt before the head pulley. They are added onto troughed belt conveyors and primarily work to increase flexibility in the overall bulk material handling system.

At FEECO, we understand that not all conveyor needs are the same for each handling application. That’s why we not only custom design and build our conveyors, but we also offer a variety of additional components and features to fit your precise material transportation system needs. We have developed designs for both single and double side material discharge. There are also three common designs manufactured at FEECO: raising bed plate (shown), lowering plow blade, and pneumatic actuated side blades.
