Over the past few weeks, the FEECO website has seen some exciting additions of new content, including information regarding bauxite, alumina, and aluminum processing, as well as three new brochures.

New Material Pages

We have added a number of new material processing pages in response to the increased demand around aluminum, as well as its constituents, bauxite and alumina. FEECO has experience in working with all of these materials in various forms. This includes feasibility and pilot testing capabilities, process development, custom equipment, and parts and service support.

Bauxite: Bauxite is the ore from which we can ultimately obtain aluminum.

Alumina: From bauxite, we derive alumina, which can then be refined into aluminum.

Aluminum: The metal critical to so many endeavors in a low-carbon economy.

New Brochures

We’ve also added a few brochures to further improve our literature around our custom equipment and testing offerings:

Combustion chambers: FEECO combustion chambers are utilized on direct rotary dryers and kilns. These units are engineered by FEECO to provide an optimal solution to the specific needs of a dryer or kiln. FEECO combustion chambers offer a number of benefits. To learn more, check out the brochure.

Unitized Base: The unitized base is a rotary drum base designed by FEECO to simplify installation, alignment, and maintenance of rotary drum drive components. Learn more >>

Flight Simulator Testing: The flight (lifter) simulator is a unique testing device offered by the FEECO Innovation Center, that allows for flight design and pattern to be tested. This is useful in the design of both rotary dryers and coolers. Learn more >>

New Project Profile

Rotary Dryer for Ammonium Sulfate: FEECO provided a custom, stainless steel rotary dryer for use in the production of ammonium sulfate (AS) fertilizer. The system was engineered to fit the customer’s unique space restrictions. See the profile >>
