FEECO is proud to announce that tomorrow, Tuesday, February 28, 2012, they will be hosting Governor Scott Walker at their facility in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Governor will be discussing the mining industry as it relates to Wisconsin, and the involvement FEECO has had in the mining industry.

FEECO has been involved in the mining industry for decades, providing equipment both to the United States, and across the globe to countries such as Argentina, Australia, Turkey, and China, among many others. In the past five years, 45% of FEECO’s sales have been to foreign countries, with the remaining 55% to companies in the US. Of FEECO’s sales, 35% have been related to the mining sector.

FEECO is proud to engineer and manufacture mining equipment that creates jobs for Wisconsinites.

The backdrop for the event will be one of FEECO’s ore agglomerators, set to be completed this year. The drum, which is a staggering 45 ft. long and 15 ft. in diameter, will be used to agglomerate crushed ore particles to help maximize the heap leaching process. FEECO has provided several rotary ore agglomerators to the mining industry over the years, for various base metal ores. Last year, FEECO shipped three rotary drum ore agglomerators from Green Bay, WI, all the way to Africa.

Governor Walker will be arriving at 1:30, and a lunch will be served.
