FEECO was founded as the Fertilizer Engineering and Equipment Company, and we’ve stayed true to our roots, serving the fertilizer and agriculture industry for over 65 years. Throughout that time, we’ve custom designed and built complete granulation systems, in addition to single pieces of equipment, to transform cattle manure, chicken litter, hog slurry, and other organic wastes into a dry, granular fertilizer product.

Manure can present substantial challenges for any size farm. A combination of high land costs and growing herd sizes have increased the amount of manure farmers manage, while reducing land available for disposal. Additionally, because of its high water content, manure is costly to transport, discouraging transportation from more than a few miles from the farm. FEECO’s organics granulation systems can help alleviate the aforementioned issues, transforming manure into a valuable product through an advanced series of processes.

To highlight our solutions and systems in working with manures, FEECO will be exhibiting at the North American Manure Expo. The expo will take place August 3 – 4, 2016 in London, Ohio (USA) at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center (Farm Science Review site).

The Expo features:

  • Four different tour options on 1) Composting and nutrient management 2) Dairy 3) Beef and 4) Agitation demos.
  • Presentations / educational sessions on cover crops, reducing phosphorus runoff, solid manure handling and application, and more.
  • Demonstrations on agitation, solid manure spreaders and compost turners.
  • A diverse exhibition, all focusing on manure.

Nick Reckinger, Bioresources Sales, and Brian Madigan, Director of Development, will represent FEECO at booth #30. “We’re a first-time exhibitor at the manure expo” said Reckinger, “and we look forward to taking part in everything the show has to offer- presentations, tours, and most importantly, the opportunity to chat with you in person inside the exhibition.”
