FEECO International attends the 2007 Institute for Briquetting & Agglomeration Conference

Green Bay, WI (November 30, 2007)- FEECO International who is a global leader in designing, manufacturing, marketing and installing equipment, systems and process development for over 50 years has taken part in this year’s IBA (Institute for Briquetting & Agglomeration) Conference & Workshop in Savannah, Georgia.

For over 50 years, the IBA has sponsored this premier conference on state-of-the-art agglomeration technology. This year’s conference was preceded by a half-day hands-on workshop, “The Basic Principles & Methods of Agglomeration”. It was an excellent opportunity for newcomers as well as a refresher course for those looking to pursue knowledge on the current methods of agglomeration. Delegates and industry experts were also available to discuss specific issues on a one-to-one basis.

Chris Kozicki of FEECO International was one of the presenters at this year’s conference. Chris has been a member of the IBA for 13 years and is currently on the Board of Directors. Chris has authored and coauthored many papers, such as “Beyond Dedusting – Agglomeration Applications for Pin Mixers”, “The Effect of Fractionation on the Performance of a Lignosulfonate Binder”, and “Coating Technology and Performance for Fertilizers and Related Granular Products”.

At each conference, about twenty technical papers are presented and these, together with ensuing technical discussions, are published in full in a volume entitled The Proceedings. Copies of The Proceedings are catalogued in technical libraries throughout the world and are available to the public. Please visit FEECO’s website for a link to get to IBA.
