FEECO is happy to announce that this St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 17, 2012, will mark the 61st anniversary of FEECO International.

FEECO opened its doors in 1951, as a Fertilizer Engineering & Equipment Company, and has since grown to serve a variety of industries across the world, including the mining and waste transformation industries. Founded by Jim Madigan, FEECO remains family-owned and operated under Jim’s Son, Dan Madigan, with Jim still actively involved in operations. Dan has proudly stated, “FEECO has been successful because of the employees that work here. Our average employee has worked for over 24 years at FEECO. This provides us with a lot of knowledge that we can pass on to our customers.”

The past year has been an eventful one for FEECO, with the shipment of three ore drums to Africa, a visit from WI Governor Scott Walker to discuss the importance of mining in Wisconsin, and the upgrade of their state of the art lab facility. FEECO also recently received the title of “Green Professional,” from the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council’s Green Masters Program. Though FEECO grew its roots in the fertilizer industry, they have really excelled in developing technologies that assist in the transformation of wastes into value-added products.

FEECO is proud to celebrate another successful year, and wishes to send a warm thank you to all of those that have helped in making FEECO what it is today.
