From One Piece to the Whole Process

Process Design & Optimization

To many companies, FEECO is known as the leader in agglomeration equipment, to others, it’s for our custom rotary dryers and kilns, and still others, it’s our fertilizer granulation capabilities they know us for. Though FEECO has built a reputation in each of these industries, what makes FEECO unique is our ability to combine all this knowledge for process design and optimization.

This means we are a one-stop shop for our customers. Rather than having to work with several companies to develop each component of a process, FEECO can design the entire process under one roof, from idea, to full fruition.

This distinctiveness is particularly exemplified in our waste to value capabilities, where process design often begins as a material problem. Whether it’s a process by-product being landfilled, a material that is difficult to work with, or just an idea for a waste, FEECO can test the material in our state of the art lab testing facility, and design a custom process based around material characteristics, complete with thermal processing, agglomeration, and even material handling equipment. “What we do here is really unique. Most companies just work on a single part of the process, but we have the experience and the technology to develop each component as part of the whole process,” said Ron Eichorn, FEECO’s Lab Supervisor.
