Feeco International, Inc. celebrated their 60th anniversary this St. Patrick’s Day by opening an office in Australia that will serve the Australasia region.
Green Bay, WI (March 17, 2011) – This St. Patrick’s Day was a big day for Feeco International, Inc. Not only were they celebrating their 60th anniversary, but they were also celebrating the opening of an office in Pakenham, Victoria, Australia. “Since we seem to have the luck of the Irish on our side, we decided today {St. Patrick’s Day} would be the perfect day to open our new facility in Australia,” said President, Dan Madigan.
The new facility is currently equipped for lab testing and plans for expansion to a full testing and manufacturing facility are in the future. The facility is working closely with its Green Bay, WI headquarters via Barry Wilson, the Australasia Operations Manager.
Feeco International, Inc. has done business in the Australasia region for many years, and decided to open the facility to better serve the region’s needs. A big focus of the Australia facility will be making granular fertilizers from waste recyclers and other materials, which will help farmers put carbon back into their soils, ultimately increasing crop productivity and decreasing greenhouse gases.
